Biography:

Bill Corrigan is a 2002 Agricultural Economics graduate of Texas A&M. The skills he learned at A&M helped him become head of the 4th generation family office in Dallas, Texas. Bill is currently President and CEO of the Goddard Investment Company. The family-owned company was established in 1931 by Charles Blake Goddard, an oil pioneer and charter member of Humble Oil Company, now Exxon Mobil. In 2007, Bill consolidated the Goddard Investment Company’s offices and other family business units into the Corrigan-Goddard Family Office, managing assets consisting of oil and gas, securities, real estate, and various family ranches around the country.

Bill’s business responsibilities require considerable time to manage. However, Bill will be the first to tell you that his three girls are his top priority. His wife, Mary C, and two daughters, Caroline and Maidie, are the keys to his happiness and success as a Christian man. Bill is an avid outdoorsman and whether working cattle at the family ranch, hunting around the world, or conducting business, Bill exudes a sense of comfort and confidence that communicates his effective leadership. Bill finds time to actively engage himself not only with his beloved family, but within the community and numerous civic and charitable activities in the Dallas area.

While an undergraduate at Texas A&M, Bill was awarded the Agricultural Entrepreneurial Award. He has since maintained a close relationship with Texas A&M and its staff. Through Bill’s guidance, the Corrigan-Goddard Foundation has generously supported the University and their entrepreneurial programs since 2002. Bill’s enthusiasm and spirit spark encouragement he shares with Rural Entrepreneurship classes at Texas A&M University and with individual students he mentors both on campus and in his Dallas office. Bill is quick to recognize the solid, valuable foundation his agricultural economics education provides him on a daily basis, and is fervent in motivating students to seek to realize their potential while taking advantage of the abundance of support available to them from their families and their Aggie Network.
